Fiona Smith selling original art in our art gallery and online. Fiona lives in Oxfordshire with her husband and three children. When not painting, she enjoys her work as a therapist and teaching meditation and spending time with her family and friends. The artist Fiona Smith “My background is in teaching and, briefly, millinery, but I had always enjoyed drawing and started painting a few years ago. A potter friend gave me one of her beautiful bowls and I fell in love with its clean lines and tactile shape and wanted to try and capture its stillness. Symbolically bowls are said to be containers for the soul, whether that’s true or not, I know that I feel very calm and peaceful when I paint them.”
