Maddie Webb, artist - painter, is available at Wychwood Art online and in our gallery. Maddie Webb is a freelance artist and art educator originally from Scotland who grew up in a beautiful area by the sea. Maddie's childhood was spent by the coast, memories of beach walks, foraging in rock pools and countless holidays in the wilds of the highlands inspire her creative process. Maddie Webb's other inspirations are drawn from the landscapes around Warwickshire and places she has visited or travelled to. Maddie's work doesn’t always depict a particular place or time, she collects moments and experiences, pieces of sky and landscape, emotions and feelings relating to each and stores them inside until they re-surface during her sketching or painting process. In essence Maddie's work is primarily driven by the way she experiences the world visually, through the mental notes she has taken as she goes about her day to day.
