Icefall is a painting that was inspired by the Cuillins of Skye and the patches of snow that are left long after Winter has departed. The brightness and reflective quality give it such an otherworldly feeling. The painting is on a deep edge canvas with a harmonising blue shade on the edges.

Elaine Fox - Artist - Painter Elaine Fox's work is available for sale online or in our gallery at Wychwood Art. I love being in nature and concentrate on using paint as a vehicle to convey the intimacy of my surroundings and the sense of belonging and affinity with landscape. The landscape drives me to capture atmosphere when I am in wild places and I use these feelings and experiences in a very loose and ephemeral way to create my own personal view of the landscape.
