I wanted to give the feel of the mystery of the forest with a glimpse of the deer in the glade. I used a very subtle aquatint to show the trees fading into the background.

Traditional copper plate etching with aquatint. I have tried to portray the atmosphere of a secret wood, and in a small clearing, seeing a magnificent deer watching me.
