Nelson is a limited edition drypoint etching by Kate Boxer. Nelson is Kate Boxer’s contemporary depiction of the famous Admiral Nelson (as signalled by his hat). The blue ink markings are unique to each print and are reminiscent of the Admiral’s position in the navy. Kate Boxer makes the plates in her studio which are then sent to to the master printmakers. After they have been printed, they are numbered and signed by the artist Kate Boxer. What makes Kate Boxer’s prints different to other prints is that, if they are hand coloured, they are coloured in by the artist. This work is sold unmounted and unframed.
