About this work of Art
Last Night was a Hoot is a small linocut. There is something very endearing about Little Owls, these two are not enjoying the bright light of day, the title says it all! This print is part of an edition of 50 on cream paper and is unframed
Rosemary Farrer is an artist printmaker who trained in Fine Art at Camberwell School of Art and the Ruskin School of Drawing. She uses various techniques including etching, aquatint, lino and woodblocks and enjoys using the special qualities of these different methods, whether it be the graphic, dynamic marks of a linocut, or the subtle tones and textures achievable in an aquatint. Her woodblock print ‘Track’ was exhibited at the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition this year and sold out at the Private View.
