In Medieval theology, the Archangels are said to be the guardian angels of nations and countries. They are concerned with the issues and events surrounding politics, military matters, commerce and trade - so not just flying about looking pretty. Given the state of the world at this time in our history, I feel we are in great need of some of Michael's angelic mite. The 'Les Corps Celéstes' (celestial bodies) series, interpret what some of these angelic beings might look like; always nude, androgynous and powerful yet playful.
