Cherry Blossom is one of the most wonderful things about May and June - here the blue sky behind it is more of a teal colour. I was underneath the tree looking up - the tiny pieces of pencil and gold on the painting suggest the tiny cherry blossom flowers within the large blousy effect standing back from the painting.
