Fleur Park is influenced by the push and pull of her country life vs her old city life. The juxtaposition of these two is seen in most of her work. The fields that surround her in her country life and in her childhood give her the sense of home and space and in this particular piece she presents the movement between spaces. The black painterly circular form moving through the composition is a suggestion of her own movement through the contrasting landscapes of the countryside and city. Circle Formation 1 is an original monochromatic painting by Fleur Park which would suit a space looking for a bold and dynamic artwork.

After pursing a history of art career in the art world, Fleur has finally come back to her love of painting. Fleur’s paintings are semi abstract and reflect the juxtaposition between her love of the city and her actual countryside life. The push and pull of both is ever present on her works.
