Robert Dunt, Dian, 2016, oil on canvas, 142.5 x 142.5cm
For me these paintings are dealing with colour and space. I’m endeavouring to push simple colour combinations to their absolute limit. For example with this painting the colours pink and black. I wanted to make the colours resonate in our eyes as much as possible. To a degree I was working within the same sphere of investigation as the pointillists, like Paul Signac.

Size: H:142.5 cm x W:142.5 cm
