I painted Gorilla to be a statement piece in any room. I like to call it a ‘mantlepiece painting’.
I adore animals and nature, focusing on large, strong animals, to give the viewer a sense of awe. The eyes in this piece are the most realistic part, focusing on the emotion. Such a powerful creature, in complete calm.

Photographs include close ups, different angles, the back of the board, also photographed next to an A4 sheet of paper for sizing.
