‘Invisible threads of communication’
An abstract landscape which has been created with mixed media by working on a wooden panel with layers of Gesso, water-soluble graphite, acrylic, copper foil, copper leaf and varnish. It suggests a landscape with a high horizon, possibly, a winter one with a hopeful look to future/distance. In the foreground, there is a web of copper foil pinging across the surface, which is a narration on the ‘Invisible lines of communication’ that invade our airways, it’s a web of the unknowable, unseen. Wood panel with 5 cm sides that can be hung directly on the wall or framed if preferred.
Size: H:100 cm x W:120 cm
