Mary Chaplin, A sunny path at Monet’s garden in Giverny, The garden of Claude Monet is one of my favourite gardens that I visit regulary with always different flowers to see. A constant changing tapestry of colour, movement and scent, a wonderfull landscape. I specially love the path with the nasturtiums , it looks like a sea of orange and yellow flowers.

To express this beauty I like painting in a more figurative way to take the viewer on an impressionistic voyage. This original painting is painted with high quality acrylic on linen canvas, 100x81cm width 2cm. The painting is not framed but ready to be hung.

Mary Chaplin is a professionnal artist who gets a lot of inspiration from her garden. Poppies, wild or grown by herself are a subject she loves. Between impressionism and abstraction, her work gives a subtile atmosphère of a summer day using large brush strockes and bold colors. This painting is a very energetic piece of work where you can feel the artist’s happiness.
