Emma graduated from Glasgow School Of Art in 1998 and since then has been painting professionally full time. She has exhibited in some of the most prestigious galleries throughout the UK and her work is in numerous public and private collections worldwide. Emma was the youngest ever recipient of the Alexander Graham Munro Travel Award at the RSW and was also one of their youngest ever elected members in 2001. Over the years Emma has won several prestigious awards for her paintings. Emma’s distinctive, vibrant paintings depict an emotional connection with the landscape. The weaving of paint, light, colour and mood on her beautifully textured surfaces results in stunning interpretations of special places.
