Sienna Dawn The Three Trees.The inspiration for this piece came after a lake walk in the Autumn. Beautiful changing colours reflected in the water. There were three trees that stood out from the rest. The strongest colours are sienna, blue/grey and yellow ochre.

After over a decade in London working in publishing and then Interior Design Gemma returned to the Sussex /Hampshire borders. Alongside raising a family, she has been able to resume her love of art and is primarily self- taught. With family connections all along the Southern Coast of England she is lucky enough to spend time absorbed by the varying dramatic coastlines that Devon, Dorset, Hampshire and Sussex have to offer. She has spent several years quietly taking commissions and exhibiting small collections. Best known for atmospheric oil seascapes but also developing abstracts in mixed media. She also has a following of regular customers that love buying her work reinterpreted into textile designs on both scarves and cushions.
