Iffley Meadows are an area of water meadow besides the River Thames, offering the type of habitat preferred by snakes head fritillaries - these quaint flowers are Oxfordshire's favourites and can be seen in March on the Wildlife reserve managed by BBOWT (Berkshire Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire Wildlife Trust)
