Complete size of diptych: H:128cm x w:128cm x D:4cm Spring Blossom 1 and Spring Blossom 2 and original diptych by Lucy Beale. These paintings take their inspiration from the emerging Spring colours within the landscape, as the blossom begins to emerge on the trees and the days feel that little bit longer. Seeking to convey a feeling of optimism for the lighter Spring days ahead.

Lucy Beale - Artist - Painter, has works available online or in our gallery at Wychwood Art. Lucy Beale studied Fine Art at Cumbria College of Art and Design, graduating in 1998. Based in West Sussex, she works with oil paint on canvas and paper taking inspiration from time spent in the Sussex countryside and coast with her family. Lucy uses muted colours and soft marks to express the subtlety of colour and light upon the landscape. The ever changing light and the transient nature of the surroundings are her constant source of inspiration.
