Azra Iqbal has original artworks for sale with Wychwood Art Gallery online. Azra Says: "I am essentially a self taught artist and I have been painting for the last seven years. My favourite medium is oils , but I do like to experiment with other mediums. I have taken part in local exhibitions in Bedfordshire as well as the New Artist Fair at the Old Truman Brewery. My painting Rush Hour in the Pouring Rain was accepted as part of the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition in 2015, it sold within the first few days. My passion is urban landscapes, I love to paint them because rain and clouds thrill me, reflections on the roads, the beautiful greys, these everyday scenes make my heart sing. I want to capture them in oils to show the world that there is so much beauty that we miss.
