During the Spring lockdown, I was absolutely captivated by Madeline Miller's book 'Circe' and found myself wanting to summon this canny little Greek Nymph to life in my drawings.

Her mixed-media paintings and drawings are influenced by contemporary dance and mythology and interpreted through high-speed mark-making using everything from powdered gold to cold tea.
