Poppy 8 is an original mono print by Mary Knowland. The poppy form and delicate quality is captured using oil paint in this unique mono print. The print was made using a textured collage as the print block and is signed Mary Knowland 2014 bottom right.

MAry Knowland originally trained as a potter but after many years working in ceramics she took a course in textiles which took her back to her fine art roots – her father had been a painter .
