Woman Changing II

Availability: Sold Category:

Emma de Polnay.

‘Woman Changing II’ (unframed) is part of Emma’s collection of figurative artworks on paper. These works are created in a series of dynamic and intensive life drawing workshops. In these unconventional and energetic sessions, the models will move and dance to pieces of music and then hold mid-motion when asked to stop. Their positions are ‘found’ rather than ‘made’, thus retaining a vitality and dynamism that transfers to the mark making on the paper.

Emma uses a combination of mixed media – inks, wax, coloured pencil, watercolour, graphite, clay and tea

Size: H:33 cm x W:22.5 cm
