About this work of Art
Amazon school by artist Alastair Gibson is an engineered inspired sculpture using carbon to create a school of fish. This sculpture shows a school of stylised racing piranha fish mounted on a used FIA legality perma-glass underfloor plank. Sculpture limited to 25 pieces.
– Piranhas: Re-engineered from the original ‘racing piranha’ sculpture. These 16 small fish are made from 2 plies / layers 2 x 2 twill of 200 gsm carbon fibre material, photo etched stainless steel, ABS, a vinyl transfer with UV protective clear coat and graphite mounting rods.
– Mounting: FIA legality perma-glass underfloor plank from the Sahara Force India F1 Team part no.13523 0051 01A, Nico Hulkenburg, Australian GP 2015.

Colour options: White, yellow, orange, fluoro orange, red, green, turquoise, blue, pink, fluoro pink, silver, chrome and gold. (There is always one different colour fish to the rest as there is always a naughty piranha in the school.)
