Part of Adam’s “Aerorganic ” series, this piece is a melange between plant and airplane , based on the P-38 Lightning fighter bomber of WW2 as flown by Antoine De Saint Exupery , known to the Germans as “The Fork Tailed Devil ” due its twin boom tailplane.

Is this an aeroplane crashing or a plant growing, more like the aeroplane growing up but not yet fully formed, its bones and sinews stretch out to the sun and the skies.?

This bronze sculpture is No.1 of a limited casting edition of 12 and is patinated in a Christmas Island crab red patina.
