Lioness is a hand coloured limited edition drypoint etching on chîne collée paper by artist Kate Boxer. This is a bright artwork by Kate Boxer. The lioness is depicted on a yellow background and surrounded by delicate and vibrantly coloured butterflies in this contemporary print. Kate Boxer makes the plates in her studio which are then sent to to the master printmakers. After they have been printed, they are numbered and signed by the artist Kate Boxer. Lioness is printed on chîne collée paper made by Kate Boxer. This is done by  painting sheets of Japanese mulberry paper which are then sent to the print making studios. What makes Kate Boxer's prints different to other prints is that, if they are hand coloured, they are coloured in by the artist. This work is sold unmounted and unframed.
