Owl - Night is a hand coloured limited edition drypoint etching with carborundum by artist and printmaker, Kate Boxer. The deep navy background of this Kate Boxer artwork hints at the nocturnal nature of the owl. Kate Boxer makes the plates in her studio which are then sent to to the master printmakers. After they have been printed, they are numbered and signed by the artist Kate Boxer. What makes Kate Boxer's prints different to other prints is that, if they are hand coloured, they are coloured in by the artist. This work is sold unmounted and unframed.
