This painting was inspired to Mary Chaplin when she visited Chaude Monet' s house in Giverny, where impressionism was born. At each side of the door there were beautiful china plant pots in which many different kinds of flowers were blooming in a ray of summer sun. She tried to recreate the movement of the light shining on the floor and the flowers, the impression! This painting is painted on coton canvas with high quality acrylic paints. It is made on a Genie Canvas and can be rolled to transport. The sides of the canvas are painted. It is not framed but ready to hang.
