An original still life painting by Relton and Marine on canvas. Their use of pastel colours for the flowers enhances the vibrancy of the citrus fruits and chillies.

Relton and Marine, painters and artists, have artworks available at Wychwood Art online and in our gallery. Christine Relton studied fine art at Leeds and Lancaster and Tom Marine at Byam Shaw and Chelsea School of Art. They became full time artists in 1996 although they have been involved in painting and printmaking for over 40 years. When they met they realised we had a shared passion for painting but had very different styles. They wanted to try working together and started playing around with images and ideas and things slowly developed from there. Relton and Marine's paintings are based imagery from their local landscape and travels and their extensive collection of textiles, ceramics and other bits and pieces we pick up along the way.
