Mary Chaplin Rose Time at Monet's garden The garden of Claude Monet is one of Mary Chaplin’s favourite gardens that she visits regularly at different periods of the year. This garden is like a constant changing tapestry of colour, movement and scents, a wonderful landscape. She specially loves the paths, they are narrow and give the feeling of being bathed in flowers , being a part of the garden itsself. To express this beauty she likes painting in a more figurative way to take the viewer on an impressionistic voyage. Lots of ‘her gardens’ are already in private collections in several countries around the world. This original painting is painted with high quality acrylic on a high quality linen canvas, 46,5x 55,5 width 2,5cm. The painting is not framed but ready to be hung. A small format that brings a lot of effect in a room! Mary Chaplin is a professional artist who gets a lot of inspiration from her garden. Between impressionism and abstraction, her work gives the subtle atmosphere of a summer’s day during the ‘rose time’, using large brush strokes and bold colors. This painting is a very energetic piece of work , you can feel the artist’s happiness and her love of Nature.
