Inspired by one of the most anticipated sport event in the city of London. The Race captured the essence of the runners. The colourful palette represented the energy and excitement at the event. Based mainly on photographs, sometimes I paint what’s there, and at other times I choreograph the picture. I want viewers to appreciate the paintings initially through the activity of looking, without interpretation. Stand afar and squint your eyes, get a feel of the picture through its colours and composition, enjoy the poetic movement of the crowds, then gradually drawn to the details of the figures.

Stephanie Ho, Artist, Painter UK based artist Stephanie Ho is recognized by her unique style of tiny human figures against a crisp white background. Stephanie began her training in oil paintings at the early age of 11. After graduating from the London School of Economics in 2001, Stephanie continued to explore her potential fine art, working as an artist full-time since 2007. Based mainly on photos, her latest series include popular sports such as golf, skiing, cycling and marathons. Appeared to be floating liberally on the canvas; Every single figures are carefully choreographed and painted with great details. Stephanie exhibits regularly and is represented by galleries in the UK, Europe, US and Asia. Her artworks are collected by art lovers around the world.
