A painting reminiscent of the valleys and mountains on Skye the Hebrides are inspiring with the dramatic landscapes with deep valleys and soaring mountains. There is an atmosphere of quiet beauty. This work was completed after a trip to Skye and what struck me it the ever changing light on the land. Oil on cradled panel unframed for your own choice of frame.

Elaine Fox - Artist - Painter Elaine Fox's work is available for sale online or in our gallery at Wychwood Art. I love being in nature and concentrate on using paint as a vehicle to convey the intimacy of my surroundings and the sense of belonging and affinity with landscape. The landscape drives me to capture atmosphere when I am in wild places and I use these feelings and experiences in a very loose and ephemeral way to create my own personal view of the landscape.
