A magical, handmade print which combines traditional techniques with childlike fantasy. This dome shaped etching and aquatint began as a pencil sketch which was redrawn onto a grounded zinc plate which the artist spent many hours filing into shape. The artist has used six different coloured inks. The plate is inked for every print in the limited edition, meaning that each one is unique and marked E.V (Edition Variable)

With over two decades of creating, Rebecca Denton works from her sketches and imagination to create original prints in her North London studio. Her aquatints are often whimsical, featuring imagined characters in imaginary landscapes and her narrative etchings are playful, sometimes with a serious context but always hopeful and life-affirming.
