This Mixed Media painting was created on the the brightest wildest day, with clouds scudding by and the light darkening then showing glimpses of blue sky and bright white clouds. The wind created a sense of strength and atmosphere to the day, I wanted to capture the feeling of a fleeting moment that fills the heart with joy. The painting is mounted in a white mount ready for your choice of frame.

I love being in nature and concentrate on using paint as a vehicle to convey the intimacy of my surroundings and the sense of belonging and affinity with landscape. The landscape drives me to capture atmosphere when I am in wild places and I use these feelings and experiences in a very loose and ephemeral way to create my own personal view of the landscape.
