This artwork by Natalie Bird is directly inspired by one of her evening walks. It depicts interactions of abstracted forms from nature. The colors bleed and erupt out of the forms and outlines, Painted following a walk in the evening in a local area of beauty where the blossom trees were just beginning to flower in mixed media and framed in an oak frame, behind non reflective glass. The painting has a lot of texture and pastel, hence the glass for protection. Natalie gains her inspiration from being outdoors in nature and from the changing seasons. Her wish is to paint expressive, atmospheric landscapes and seascapes. She is interested in how paint, colour, texture and mark-making can suggest and express, allowing the imagination to interpret a moment or scene. Exhibitions: In recent years she has exhibited at the Mall Galleries with the New English Art Club, the RBA and the Threadneedle Exhibition. In 2011 she exhibited at the Royal Academy summer exhibition. She exhibited with the Chelsea Art Society in 2018 and 2019.
