'Coastal Memories' is an original abstracted seascape painting by artist Fleur Park. Inspired by memories of the British coastline this abstract painting brings together a considered use of compositions, with a use of pattern and wider mark making moving through the painting, giving the appearance of a patchwork quilt. Fleur's use of a horizontal line running through the picture plane brings the viewers attention to the very coastal and seascape aspects of this painting.

Fleur Park, artist and painter, has abstract and minimalist artworks available at Wychwood Art in our gallery and online. Fleur Park studied fine art and history of art at the University of Northumbria, Newcastle. After pursing a history of art career in the art world, Fleur has finally come back to her love of painting. Fleur’s paintings are semi abstract and reflect the juxtaposition between her love of the city and her actual countryside life. The push and pull of both is ever present on her works. Fleur Park, artist and painter, is shown in Wychwood Art gallery and online.
