The beautiful West Sussex coast is the inspiration for this painting. Many happy days spent on the beach, with the ever changing light and colours of the sky and the sea.

Lucy Beale - Artist - Painter, has works available online or in our gallery at Wychwood Art. Lucy Beale studied Fine Art at Cumbria College of Art and Design, graduating in 1998. Based in West Sussex, she works with oil paint on canvas and paper taking inspiration from time spent in the Sussex countryside and coast with her family. Lucy uses muted colours and soft marks to express the subtlety of colour and light upon the landscape. The ever changing light and the transient nature of the surroundings are her constant source of inspiration.
