This limited edition screen print captures rowers paddling in the dawn serenity of the river Thames at Putney. The bright winter morning sunshine is reflected in the still glassy water and the pair of rowers and the shadows of Putney Bridge in the distance, create contrast and depth.

Having studied art at Wimbledon and Chelsea School of Art she had a successful career in advertising before establishing and running a busy architectural practice with her husband and now combines this with her artistic practice. Robyn utilises a number of styles, tapping into the versatility of the screen-printing process in her work. Whether using photos and sketches to record the scenes around her and then capturing the mood and feel of a place through the printing process, or working on more graphical prints, her work is characterised by the bold use of colour. The mono printing method brings a painterly quality to much of her work and some unexpected results where unlike most screen prints, each piece is unique.
