A large striking still life oil painting featuring a selection of beautiful ceramic bottles and cylinders. This largely tonal work centres on the light as it is reflected from one vessel to another. The pale colours and subject matter are inspired by Morandi's work and give a serene and restful composition which would work in any room setting. In situ images give an indication of how this painting may look on the wall.

Jonquils Williamson, painter, is available for sale online and in our art gallery at Wychwood Art. Jonquil paints with oils. Colour is the dominant driver in all her works, creating vibrant still life and rich tonal landscapes. Following a Diploma in Art and Design in 2013, she joined the vibrant artists’ community, Wimbledon Art Studios and works and shows her work there alongside Wychwood Art. She works daily from her home studio in Surrey and at Wimbledon Art Studios in South West London. She comments “My paintings, created using oil paint, are inspired initially by colours I observe in the landscape and things around me. Although my work is mostly representational, I allow the mark-making and textures created as I layer the paint, to inform the image. My focus is the sense of place, or essence of the object rather than a strict representation of it.
