Alligator print is a limited edition drypoint etching by printmaker, Kate Boxer. The bold shapes and deep colour that the carborundum lends to the piece give depth to the minimalist feel of the contemporary print. Kate Boxer makes the plates in her studio which are then sent to to the master printmakers. After they have been printed, they are numbered and signed by the artist Kate Boxer. What makes Kate Boxer's prints different to other prints is that, if they are hand coloured, they are coloured in by the artist. This work is sold unmounted and unframed.
