Jellyfish

Inspired by snorkelling in the Mediterranean , observing jellyfish peacefully drifting with the current. This painting is textured and aqueous. The gesso base applied with broad sweeps of a palette knife so as to give the illusion of fine tentacles in the water and movement. I enjoyed re-creating the effect
